The EvoluChem™ LED spotlights are designed specifically for photocatalytic, photochemistry or photobiology applications. They fit the PhotoRedOx Box™ Single HCK1006-01-016, PhotoRedOx Box™ Duo HCK1006-01-023, PhotoRedOx Box™ TC HCK1006-01-025 and PhotoRedOx Box™ UV/Vis HCK1022-01-001. Note that LEDs lower than 365 nm work only with the PhotoRedOx Box™ UV/Vis. They are designed to irradiate all samples with maximum efficiency compared to higher power LED light sources from the competition. They are more than 20 specific wavelengths ranging from 254 nm to 808 nm. This LED light wavelength is 427 nm with an irradiance of NA at 2 cm. The beam angle is 25 Degrees. This gene encodes a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family of proteins, and acts as a tight junction adaptor protein that also regulates adherens junctions. Tight junctions regulate the movement of ions and macromolecules between endothelial and epithelial cells. The multidomain structure of this scaffold protein, including a postsynaptic density 95/disc-large/zona occludens (PDZ) domain, a Src homology (SH3) domain, a guanylate kinase (GuK) domain and unique (U) motifs all help to co-ordinate binding of transmembrane proteins, cytosolic proteins, and F-actin, which are required for tight junction function. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
